Default Throttle screw pad

Hi all
Is there such a thing as a throtle locking screw pad as I found a small slightly curved black tab with a tiny hole in the middle after changing my bars and internally wiring them. Don't know where it came from must be out of one of the switch housings. Any pics of one would be very handy.

Yes, that's what it is. I guess it rides on the throttle sleeve. It won't bother a thing to be missing, as long as you don't use that stupid star wheel. My star **** broke off 20 years ago, a rather useless POS.

I use it on all of my bikes ,

1. it keeps the return tension from fatiguing your wrist( some ride more than 20 miles at a time )

2. it keeps your arm from unintentional blipping the throttle at low speeds over rough terrain.

3 helps on warm -up while you put on your gloves.

4. use as a "poor boy cruise control " when you want to take your throttle hand off the grip for a while .

Trick is , You have to be smart enough to use it . I/e don't "lock it , just give it enough tension to turn the throttle on and off with your normal grip.

I use mine everyday every ride. It's habit at this point. Bumpy long haul gets a tighten and I also use it for CC on the highway. It's a gem.

I think Kuryakyn sells a replacement rod that goes in place of the star screw so that you can easily swap between "cruise control" and normal
