Mix matching grips and pegs?

Mix matching grips and pegs?
Has anyone done this that maybe they have some pictures of? I have been trying for a while now to find some pegs and grips that really speak to me and just can't seem to find anything that works. I think I have found some Avon pegs that I like, but I think using the matching grips would be too much.
I know its my bike and I need to make it how I want it, but I want to know if anyone has actually been able to make a mix match pair work and look good. Thanks guys! I know you won't let me down!
UPDATE: To make it clear, what's everyone's opinion on this combo?
These Pegs:
With either these:
Or these:
What I would like is for the grips and pegs to help add to the look of the bike but not BE the look. Let me know what you all think!

Hey Kevin, Try a google search for grips and scroll through the different styles. When you find something that fits your style, make a note of the name/brand/style and then do a more specific search to see options, bar size, colors, included throttle sleeve, etc.
You may be overthinking it and find an inexpensive amal style rubber grip may fit the look. Or you may find the slickest anodized machined grips.
Same with the pegs.
If you had a specific bike/s you wanted to pull some inspiration and iseas from you should post it here. People here can identify the parts/look you are going for and hopefully narrow your search. Cheers.

My combo that I'm thinking of is Avon Gatlin pegs, the smooth ones, and Harley X2 grips.
The other combo is the same pegs but with black avon grips.
I can't decide which would be a better match or if either would.

I'm thinking about ordering Galaxy Grips and matching pegs for my bike.
