Default Not flat footed what to do?

hello all, just purchased my first harley hugger 2002 Im not flat footed on the ground whats the best solution a new seat or shocks the seat is stock.

I think if you get a new seat (a good one)it will lift you up so I would change the shocks. But I have not found a good stock seat that is good.

That is only my two cents may be someone will come up with something better.

I have seen bikers with an unusually short inseam, or who are very short all over, successfully become "flat-footed" by purchasing a pair of high-heeled cowboy or riding boots. It's probably the cheapest solution, assuming you use boots when you ride,

1. Narrower seat so that your legs don't bend outward as much.

2. Buy a Dyna Low Rider.

I had my 03 883r lowered 1 inch in the front and smaller shocks put on at the dealer when I bought it.I also wear Harley boots with big heals.If you use smaller shocks make sure the front is also lowered also.You should do both.

Progressive shocks front and rear dropped my bike about 1 1/2" corbin hollywood solo reach seat shaved down and at 5'1" I am flat footed on my 2000 1200.
