Front Turn Signal Relocation
I just bought a 2014 48 all black Sportster and love it. So far I have the stage 1 download, new air cleaner, and put drag bars on it. I ran into some clearance issues with the drag bar hitting the tops of the forks but found some great advice on this site on how to fix that.
I also have some clearance issues with the turn signals and need to relocate them down to the lower bracket screws on the triple tree. Does anyone have any advice on the best way to do this? If not, how about some advice on good looking aftermarket alternatives. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Just did this last night. Depends on how mechanically skilled you are (this is super easy even for the mechanically impaired... No judgement!). I took the signal off of the top tree clamp and tightened the bolt back down once the signal is off. Make sure that when you're relocating each side that at least the upper or lower tree clamp is tight to prevent the fork from moving up. When you look at the signal light itself, you'll see a tiny little nub sticking out that once sat in a notch on the upper tree. Cut that nub off. You can use a hack saw and sand paper if need be. I used a rotary tool with a cutting blade then sand paper. Gave it a quick shot of paint before I bolted it on the lower clamp too. Do the same to the other side and boom, 15 min later, your front signals are relocated!

Awesome info! Thank you so much. That is exactly what I was looking for. One question, when you took the turn signals off did you have to cut the wires to get it over to a table to cut the "nub" off or was there a connector you could pull apart and then put back together?
