Anyone have any tips? These mufflers are too loud for my personal taste. I don't have the cash to do an all new exhaust, so can I perhaps rewrap the baffles with something I can get at the hardware store? Is tighter packing more quiet, or the other way around? I've already installed lollipop inserts which helped and also virtually eliminated decel pop, but I need more volume decrease.

I believe DK has a thunder torque insert that will quiet them down, check with them.

Can't you just get the quieter baffles from Rush?

 

Depends, which baffles do you have? Rush has 1.75", 2.00" and 2.25". Check which one you have and go smaller if possible.
