Default 2014 controls

Anyone have a parts book? I'm wondering if 2014s have a different part number for mid controls due to the new rear cylinder location. Looking to pick up a set for my forty eight but don't want to get a set that won't bolt on.

I got a set off eBay from a 2014 nightster to put on my 2014 48. The seller had the dealership install forwards on his bike. I went with a 2014 as it came with the shorter brake rod for the 2014 sportster.

So, 2014 is definitely different from 04-13? Bummer. I should have got a 2013; everything is different on this damn bike.

Wink

It may help to take a look at one of the on-line parts websites, like this one and compare part numbers between those years.

Go back to the dealership that sold you the bike. They should have given you a parts catalog for free.

No. I got the 2014 controls mainly as it had all the parts without having to piece it together. The mounts are the same from 2004 to 2014. The brake lever, etc though is a 2014 only along with the brake rod. The gear shift side has not changed from 2004 - 2014.

I got the whole setup on EBay for $100. Dumb not to go that route. You can go online to Ronnies Harley Davidson and look up the parts for various years. That's what I did to see what I could do.
