Yeah, looks like your hand controls are maybe rotated a bit too far forward...

To everyone who has swapped tanks:

Did you buy your tank new/raw steel or did you shop around on eBay or something for a used one? I'm thinking of putting a nightster tank on mine but don't want to spend crazy amounts of $ for something I don't necessarily need.

Thanks

Shopped around on eBay, but ended up buying mine from a member on this forum

JMat1980 I don't have any input on your problem but what are your plans for your tank? starting a project bike and looking to purchase a tank.

Thanks for all the reply's...got the bars rotated so the controls don't hit...i've been on vacation, but will try to tweak the mirror stalk position to gain some clearance...

Tank is new from HD...3.3 Gal for a nightster. I ordered it primed and sent it out for paint. Similar color to Sedona Orange, it is HOK Kandy Tangarine. Tank was painted with smoke airbrushed on the sides and "Harley Davidson" logo...came out great...ill post pics when its all done..
