OK I'm no expert on this but if your 40# off from front to rear cylinders isn't that a lot of differrence? If they dyno'd it, didn't they notice/know what was wrong with it, if anything? Maybe it's just the difference between the stock cam & whatever you installed that seems wrong/different? I'd go back to the guy that dyno'd it and ask him his opinion. A 40 psi difference in compression is not good. You are losing pressure in the front cylinder. Best to pull the cam cover and recheck the timing marks on the cams and make sure they all line up. After you have ruled out cam timing, do another compression test. Just take it one step further. Pour a little motor oil into the front cylinder and re-do the test. If the compression jumps up close to the 195 psi on the rear, you got bad rings. If it stays around 155 psi you have leaking valves. You did not mention if the pushrods were solid or adjustable. If they are adjustable, readjust them, they are too tight.
