i live in PA and have sold afew things to out of state residents. sign the title .type an asis agreement releasing you of any responibility have him sign it and send the person on his way

i don't see the prob. He gives you cash, you give him bill of sale, title signed over to him and the bike. You remove the mc from your insurance and he is responsible for getting it licensed in MD.

 

ive found the only reason a notary is required[in md] is to verify the price of the vehicle for tax reasons....meaning i sell you a bike for 500 bucks...but the bike has a blue book of 3000..if the title isnt notarized..you'll pay tax on the blue book...not the sale price
so if anyone is getting screwed here...it'll be him not you[when it comes time to register]
