i bought the 883 superlow. OTD was $7999. I htought i did pretty good with that. I hate paying list but they dont budge here at all. They said dealer stuff 1K i got 800 and change off for being union. I was not thrilled but it was doable.

 

I would look at used. When I was recently in market I have found a few Irons with less than 1k miles going for $8-8.5k...plus used bikes usually have a couple of accessories installed already which saves $$$

 

Not exactly the same model but I paid $9500 OTD for my 2014 1200C - it was slightly used (204 miles). The $9500 included a Sundowner 2-up seat, the short quick-detach windshield and the first service. They also let me keep the stock seat that was replaced by the Sundowner seat and I sold that for $80.

The KBB/NADA values for just the used bike at the time were about $9700 so I think I did OK.
