Default Any Experience with this Side Mount License Plate?

Anyone ever use this? For $40 I might give it a try and if its crap I'll just send it back. If anyone has already reached that conclusion I'd love to hear about it.

Apparently it attaches in place of the rear axle spacer. Don't know how good of an idea that is, but it seems like it should work. Any and all opinions are welcome!

I'm not sure about the one you're looking at but the factory side mount plate on my Nightster is nice. Gives the bike a really clean look. A plus is that if you are ever in an area with speed cameras, just lean back and flip that sucker in. They can take all the pictures they want but where are they going to send the ticket? ;-)

DK sells a decent one as well as other companies - They must work very well because a lot of bike owners use them.

My friend put that exact one on his Softtail, I think it lasted 4 months before it broke while he was going down the road and he had to zip tie it to the bike to get home. He's always buying cheap eBay stuff and it's always either a pain in the *** to install or it breaks months later.

Over the years we have seen so many License Plate brackets break from so many different companies, that we decided to see if we could come up with one that did not break.

We started from scratch, and took a different approach in design. After over a year of testing, we finally started production a couple of years ago.

All Products we make, including the License Plate Relo have a Lifetime Warranty.

You can check out all the options here- Plate Relo Kits

DK,

What size whole do you recommend for my Sportster? 1/2 or 1"?

It is just a matter of personal preference. Some prefer the shock mount where others prefer the axle.

One is not better than the other as far as stability and quality. They will both work great and accomplish the same thing.

If you have any questions, feel free to call or email us.

That one from ebay is crap! It will snap off by the bolt hole. Im on my 4th bracket now having had 3 different make brackets snap off at speed
Now I have the DK customs bracket and its superb ( looks and fits great )and finally I can ride without worrying about taking my friend out behind! Would you believe 2 out of 3 that snapped he was following me! Once on his bike and once in his car!
