Just ordered from DK! Great folks to work with and answered all my questions. We'll see how she looks when I get the plate relo on.

 

I have had a couple side mount brackets with NO success. That was until I ran across a bracket that is custom made with 11 gauge steel. There is a seller on eBay that makes these "almost indestructible" plate mounts. He makes the plate mounts for horizontal and vertical plate positions, which he makes with various designs. He can make a bracket that will mount on either side of your bike and attach to either the shock bolt or axle. He will even customize the mounting hole with any size you request. I ended up buying a vertical mount bracket (Legal in my state.) and buying a license plate frame with white LED's to illuminate the plate. It looks sharp!! The mount/bracket that you receive will be raw steel, but is ready for a rust resistant spray bomb or powder coating straight out of the package. His eBay name is accufast2d. Not only is his products meant to last forever, but his prices aren't too bad either. I believe I paid about $26.00 for my axle mount. You can even check his products out at AccuFast2D.com. Hmmm... eBay trash, huh?? Ok... Your entitled to your opinion, but I must totally disagree. I, myself, would consider eBay trash to be the plastic Chinese knockoff stuff. The kind of stuff that breaks within a matter of weeks, days or even hours of being used. This mount is 100% American made. This mount can be custom-made to your own design, measurements and/or specifications. It's also made off 100% "11 gauge STEEL". I would bet it would be close to impossible to break this mount off with a hammer! I believe this mount will probably outlast my bike. Anyways... I really do appreciate your negative and rude response. Your response just helps enforce my thought, that there really are people in this world who show their intelligence by assuming things, instead of researching the facts first. Have a good day.

 

Well just got my plate in from DK and put it on. Looks SO much better than the stock crap. It is solidly made and very sturdy. Thanks DK for all the help. It sure as hell beats the $180 harley option!
