Hey all,

gotta vent about spending a fair amount of cash on a new helmet with what seemed to be a flat black paint. After about 1 month, in warmer weather, the outer shell of the offending POS starting getting sticky, more and more till the thing is like fly paper. I'm wearing a fly paper helmet, everything sticks to it!

As I had my older shell (same model) from my last helmet, I refitted the new innards from the new POS to my older shell. now I'm set but I am pissed about the lies told to sell what should be a nice helmet only to find its junk!

AAAAGGGGGHHHHH! Just say'in.

IS noting sacred anymore?!!?

I would be a little upset about that too. Did you happen to get anything on the finish that made it soften up? What about a warranty?

 

Post up the name brand of this helmet...

 

I have a Fulmer half that has done the same thing on the top. It became super tacky and whenever I set it down now it picks up whatever it touches.

 

Even some Helmet companies are skimping on cost, Sorry to hear of your problem but this seems more of an issue than not these days.

 

Probably too much thinner in the paint or not enough catalyst.

 

I'll post a pic shortly, its laughable really. More annoying than anything else, what else can I waste money on these days.
