just wondering whats your opinion on HD's gold spark plugs over the original stock plugs

Typical HD BS. Get regular plugs and you will be fine.

Gold is what, 1400.00 to 1600.00 a ounce,guess i will not have a set.

Like Amsoil, gold will increase your horse power and your engine will run better and chick's will jump your bones thinking you have lot's of money to blow!
