I think I'd like a sissy bar to be able to strap a backpack to for rides to work. I can't see paying $250 for what is essentially a bent piece of bar stock, though. What is everyone here running? How do you like it?

 

Well I bought mine through Harley - it is a quick release, I like it, it is heavy duty and my ol' Lady likes it when she goes with me. I'm sure there are cheaper ones out there..

Pretty easy to fab one up, i bought the quick detach plates cause i dont use it all the time, just to strap a bag to or keep my girl safe, 1/2" round bar curved to your liking a welder and your set.
