I think that winter has just been long and everyone is getting edgy.
Winter? What's that? We don't get that here in Florida.

Just Kidding. With a name like IceRider, you must be waaaaaaaaaaaay up North.

We all just need a good 1000 mile ride through some hills.
You got me again, what are hills? Please explain.

Florida here too! I must admit, I do I like the orange and black color scheme. I think it's some of the best paint offered by HD in a long time. When we have the demo rides in my area, I promise I'll ride a nightster and see for myself. Nothing can make one change their mind like a little seat time. Another thing that makes me rethink my opinion is that I heard (and this may be a load of BS) is that it is possible to build the nightster to over 100 HP. NightsterHooligan has the right idea with the power commander 3 mod. I do envy SPFI. Stage I is probably less expensive to achieve with slip-ons and a mapping download. Good luck with it. Again, I apologize if I offended anyone.

No offense taken. Good luck on finding a Nightster for a demo ride. Until they catch up on production they are likely to sell every one of them. Maybe towards the end of the year. I'd let you ride mine, but you'd have to wear pink! LOL [sm=drooldude.gif]

You don't know the joys of riding till it's 15 degrees and you have to stay in the tracks on the road so you don't slip on ice and snow. And by the way, South Dakota isn't too far north.

Buying a bike with the name of Nightster was easy, my other bike is called the Majesty how gay does that sound? The lack of imagination in the motorcycle naming department really lacks.
Why not "tarmacterror"or "holycrapitsfast" ..."torquemonster".."wheel spinner"...."weeeeeee"
These names have better imagination.

I could deal with saying to someone.."yea I got a 2007 HD holy crap its fast" that works better for me.

I tell everyone I own a HD1200N and a Yamaha YP-400.

Just rode my new nighster home 2 hrs ago. I think the exhaust will be the first to go. My last sporty had sreamin' eagles. Really loved the sound. The EFI is taking some getting used to. It is smoother, and I think faster, but the old carb gave it a certain something when twisting the throttle that's different with the EFI. Overall though, I love the bike and can't wait to put many miles behind me.
