According to some around here that statement is an oxymoron.
We have a Harbor Freight in town and I have found that most stuff is OK for ocassional use but most all cutting tools IE drills, saw blades, etc are crap.
I never have any issues with Torx bolts on my bikes but you have to make sure to use the correct size for the bolt you are working in. I have seen people using one size too small, thinking they have the correct tool and this ends up deforming the head.

If I was a professional mechanic I wouldn't buy from Harbor Freight. However, I am not, and the torx set that resides in my personal tool box is harbor freight and it hasn't failed me yet. Correct size, properly centered on the head, and they work just fine.
I'm going to to get the saddle supports, guess I'll get a good set of wrenches from harbor freight
There's no such thing as a good set of Harbor Freight wrenches...
(I posted this and then went back through the thread. Looks like I'm not alone in my hatred of Harbor Freight junk.)
Anyway, I needed a T25 to change the grips on my 1200C. Have a set of Lisle (I think) bits that work well. But a bit in good shape is really important. A worn bit will cam out or gut your fastener. And I like the looks of Torx bolts, myself.

I've never had issues with harbor freight tools. Fixed plenty of things with them on my motorcycles over the past 15 years. So I'll just say I got some tools from HB if that's what the bashing is about and not "good" ones. They are fine for me.
I was going to put a few things on my sporty but realized the bigger bolts are torx bolts which I've heard several bad stories of stripping them. Why would HD use these bolts???? JD
easier/faster for assembly line impacts = no slip/scratch/strip
I'm sure some have thought it was a special "dealer only" wrench needed
