I tried to start my Sportster today and it would not start. It turned over okay until the battery started dying. Put it on charge and tested for sparks. I didn't see any sparks on the tester. Then I had something to come up and had to drop it for the day. Plan to look at it in the morning. It's a 1999 with just over 10,000 miles. Was running good the last time I started it - back in Dec. Where would be the best place to start to find the problem? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
