How to test ignition module on 2003 Sporty?
Anybody know how to test the ignition module on a 2003 Sporty?
It doesn't have spark, but turns over normally. I replaced the plugs, ignition coil, tested bank angle sensor. The wiring on the bike is pretty unmolested. I am thinking it's the ignition module, I'm just hesitant to replace the $280 part without testing it somehow.

Was looking in all my manuals..Just do not have yours but do have a 99. The sensor is just a make/break with the vacuum control I guess adjusting the advance and retard. Shows little testing since I do not have diagnostic manual. Talks about being careful about what you unhook. I know if the regulator goes bad and lets some AC come thru from the stator, that will kill the switch. If you had the correct manual, it describes what wire to remove to trigger coil but that is mainly to test coil. Manual says to have Harley test it. Mainly I am just bumping you to the top till a Sporty expert jumps in and also learn.
