Should i get a nightster?
It's a 2009 with 5800 miles for 5500 bucks. Looks brand new in the pictures and is 100% stock. It's a few hours from me which isn't a big deal. I like to buy bikes ride them for a bit then sell them. How hard would it be to resell this bike in a year or so? I always hear it's harder to sell a sportster but I feel like the nightster would be one of the more sought after models.

The Nightster is no longer made so that can have some appeal to some looking for it, overall I have to agree with the other poster - if it is a clear/clean title $5500 is worth it and in a year or so you should be able to recoup your funds

He's asking $200 more than the very low ball figure.
If you like the bike, and the condition and miles are as good as you describe, I'd pull the trigger.
Sometimes playing law ball over a certain point, can result with someone else driving away your bike.

What he says and what he does are 2 different things. If the seller has other interested party,s then pay $5500, if not hold out at $5000, even if you end up paying $5300 its better the $200 is in your pocket...Always remember, you don't know the seller and you will only ever meet him once, so if you offend him a little with a very low offer, he can only say no. I have done this many times and 90% of the time I have always got more money off in the end.......
