Question Le Pera Bare Bones seat? (48)

Anyone rolling around with the Le Pera bare bones solo seat? I'm contemplating buying one but I can't seem to find pics/specs/reviews on it. Also, I was wondering how the seat held up comfort wise. Thanks!

Also, I was wondering if there was a difference from '10-'14 in the seating area? Seems most companies only have '10-'13 listed for seat fitment. Any help is appreciated!

I absolutely Love mine. Its firmer than stock which I like and feel its more comfortable. And I think it looks so much better too.

here is a quick pic I took this morning. It was a bit dark out so sorry about the quality. Its about as wide as stock but because it is rounded more on the sides it fits the curves of the bike much better. It doesnt look like a chunky triangle like the stock one does.

I have the LT series and although I think it looks very cool, after about 100 miles or so it gets a tad uncomfortable.

Default 48 with Bare Bones

Much better than stock. Next time I'm getting the gel insert.

I have two Bare Bones, one on a 2007 Street Bob and a 2008 Nightster; no problems... (Le Pera has been good to work with, too.)
Thanks,
Rod

My experience with the bare bones has been negative. I weigh 128 pounds so you'd think I could deal with the Sporty stock suspension. That was not the case - maybe because of my bony butt. I tired of going numb after twenty or thirty miles and WITH the shocks set for minimum pre-load.

I replaced the LePera with a Mustang dual, about an inch or so higher and it makes a world of difference ! Certainly 100 mile rides are not now a problem. I kept the bare bones however because, heck, it DOES look cool !

Cheers -
