Default Do you watch the weather?

I won't ride if there is a chance of rain, unless I get caught in it, hail NO WAY, or if there its going to be windy, gust from 20 mph and above, how about you guys? Cold weather does not bother me to a point I stop riding at 25 deg's. Rain and windy conditions no fun!

Im the same dont like being to uncomfortable.I dont ride unless its at lest 45 degress and sunny. If it rains or gets cold while Im allready out riding I deal with it.I used to ride all year long but alot of that was no fun, even rode in the snow.Guess I was a little crazy when I was younger.[:@]

I'll ride in almost anything. Pretty much just the possibility of ice on the road will stop me. If I get wet I can get dry. If I get cold I can get warm. If I don't ride I get board.

There are all kinds of riders out there. I would never suggest anyone ride outside their own comfort zone. Personally, I won't swing a leg over if there's a chance of ice. However, I do like to ride in the cold or the wet or whatever. Even in the dead of winter there are some riding days available. (Thanks to heated riding gear)

It helps that I can make a choice -- I have a Boston-area friend who rode her bike to and from work for a solid year -- including through snow. She didn't have a car.

I won't head out for a ride if it is bad out but if it's not and I leave only to find out later I've been caught in it,that's just part of the ride.

I don't have any limits anymore. I ride as much as I can.
