Default Mustang seat moved too far back.. advice?

I recently bought a mustang wide vintage solo seat and pillion. But after riding around on it for a few days , i feel like it moved me too far back and up for me to be comfortable. 5'6" with forwards. My stock seat had me in the proper position. I feels to me like its about a inch back and a inch up over stock.
I am contemplating selling them, is there any other good seats out there that are as comfortable, look good, but dont move you around? and have a comfortable pillion

I am 5'5" and my Sporty has forward controls with Stock 2-Up seat. It's good and comfortable but every now and then I have to slide forward especially right after pulling up from a stoplight. So I just bought HD reduced reach 2-up seat from a gentleman here just a couple of days back. It is supposed to move you forward by 1/2" with back support to keep you saddled in the proper position. I can give you the seat report on the weekend as the seat is arriving on Friday and I have a 300 miles drive planned on Saturday which will be the real test of the seat.

Stay tuned.

As promised, here is the ride report on the HD Reduced Reach 2-Up seat (P/N: 51738-07).

So I went up on a 325 miles' long ride today with AMRG after putting on the new seat. This one sits low and does move you forward by around half or an inch approximately. It's no Mustang but the nice bucket shape and some extra foam at the place where the seat touches your hip-waist joint, does provide a nice firm support and doesn't let you slide back. Also this seat is in general more cushioned which is another big difference I noticed when compared to my stock 2-up seat. Especially the passenger pillion is at least 3 inches thicker and generally wider than my stock one so that should be good enough when my wife decides to join me on these rides.

The ride today was through Texas backroads ... not too bumpy overall but did include some twisties and up-and-down the hills and not even once I slid back on this seat like I used to on my stock. Also I came home after riding almost the whole day and my butt is not tired!!!

One note of caution though, since you already have sat on a Mustang seat, you might not like the firmer feel of this seat right of the bat. For me it works. You can check it out here for HD specs if you want official dimensions and stuff.
