Some good VHT, or doesn't Harley sell engine paint?
I never liked the shiny edge on black fin cylinders on 1200s or other HD, I think they look better all black or all natural. JMO, not trying to upset anyone.

Harley sells 2 kinds of black engine paint: Wrinkle Black and Texture Black. Wrinkle Black is a gloss black paint that...well, wrinkles. It's a bit tricky to use because you have to apply just the right amount of paint. Too little and it won't wrinkle. Too much and it will run. Texture Black is a flat black paint that dries as a rough finish, as if there was sand mixed in the paint. It goes on with no problems or issues, just like any spray paint.
Make sure you ask for the one you want as there is a distinct difference between the two.
