Default frisco bars internal wiring help

Hi guys,

I'm planning on internal wiring my frisco bars this weekend.
They will be mounted on a Iron 883 2012.

I have some questions.

- Are the stock electrical wires long enough ?
- Can the connector pins make the turns in the bar ?
- Can you run them without protection in the bars or heat shrink them and
then pull them true the bars ? (when they leave the bars I will protect them anyway)

THX !!!

1) yes
2) if you mean the connectors then no
3) i wrapped mine in silicon tape, applied a little all purpose grease and pulled them through

A) probably, if you have a wire tuck you will have some extra length.
B) pins will make it. Make sure you get your feed wire taped above the pins otherwise you will surely rip the the pins off. I sprayed some silicone spray into my bars and then pulled them trough. Feed the wires, pull the feed wire, feed some more, pull the wires.
C) I wouldn't recommend doing that you should heat shrink it all. I mean you will "protect them when they leave the bars" anyway so it's really not much more work doing it all the way.

There's lots of videos on YouTube, search Burly ape hanger install and you'll find a good video.

Good luck with it!
