Default Finally Got My 3.3 Swap Done

Hey guys after finally finding a nice tank and waiting for parts I finally got the tank installed. Its a 3.3 Sand Denim tank off of a 2014 Iron. I think it looks pretty good, makes the bike stand out a little bit more because there's just a tad less black.

Let me know what ya think!

I attached before and after pics

I like the tank and color. Nice job. I switched to 3.3 about a year ago. I think the tank looks just as good as the peanut tank and you get an extra gallon of gas. Now my fuel light comes on at about 85 miles instead of 55. That's around town.

Personally, I liked the orig tank better. The 2.2 sporty tank is an iconic look. Perfect lines for a smallish bike..like a sportster or custom chopper. Sportys have a funky shape, porky in the middle and short in the back, when you add "bigness" to the middle it....to me at least destroys the lines of the bike. But hey, another gallon of gas is nice at least.

Thanks man, ya I mainly did it for the gas mileage. I'm excited to ride, this weather sucks.

Thanks, I'm actually surprised at how good that color looks. I was a little shaky at first but I'm loving it now.

Looks good, small tanks are annoying.

I like how you park your bikes in the house.

Another nice looking 48 with 3.3 tank. I like it, since I will be switching to 3.3 in next few weeks.
