Default Rocker covers

Thinking about a switch out on my 2014 48.....is it an easy job or will I need to take off the gas tank, etc to do it?
Nothing wrong with the old ones, just thinking the bike would look better without the chrome factory ones.

When I replaced the rocker cover gaskets on my 2007 1200-C I just raised one end of the tank up at a time. It worked just fine. I didn't disconnect anything.

It literally only takes 10-minutes to remove the tank...if you take your sweet time. Why have that big object in the way, when you're working along?

Rocker covers are pretty easy...just get them torqued back down properly s oyou don't have leaks. Sportster service manual, for working on bike, is a must...then you can see all the steps, specs and parts involved.
