Default Should I get it??

There is a good deal on a 2005 roadster that I'm thinking about buying. And have questions about the bike, I really wanted a nightster, just for the fact of the looks but pretty much is the same bike. any of you out there help me decide on the 2 thanks!

Legacy,

If you like the look of the nightster then get the nightster.

There is a reason most people here post the pix of their rides, because they just like the looks and want to look at it and show it to others. Many of us also spend much time in the garage improving the looks.
In my experience, if it looks good I like to ride it more.

it's the same with, cars, food and....other things

2005 1200R has better brakes & suspension than a Nightster.
Also has carb instead of EFI.
You can blacken it yourself.

Not enough info on the bike you want to buy.
Not enough info about your knowledge about sportsters.
Not enough info about the price.
You give us one sentence and want us to spend your money?

Buy the one you really want even if you must wait. If not you will always wish you did

We'll about the roadster it's a 2005 with about 3600 miles for about 4k. And has a lot of upgrades including muffler and forward controls! I plan to ride 2 up with the wife! So I feel the roadster wood be the better choice all around. As far as looks it's pretty much the same as the nightster, except for the nightster being blacked out! The nightster I'm looking at is about 8k, and I could really save some money. the only real thing is pointing to the nightster is the style but is it really worth it?? This will be my first bike. Thanks

Actually the roadster is more blacked out than the nightster..
The nightster's engine is an ugly gray vs. black on the roadster..

Do you want carb or efi?
If you prefer efi, go 07+ sportster..

The Roadster with 3,600 miles for $4,000 looks like a good first bike, providing it looks nice and clean.

Get the one you really want or you'll still want it after buying the other.
