put ngk iridium in they have hot spark available and fire the 883 converted to 1200 right up . index to exhaust valve for max power . spark is aimed at incoming charge good for 5% hp

I got a 2010 XL1200C bought new in 4-2011, mine does that, makes you skip a heart beat thinking something might be wrong, more so cold. But, not. It don't spin the motor like some bikes & vehicles, it's like it engages, hesitates, then gives it a quick spin & fires right up. had battery check & it was ok. that's good woun't wear out starter. I use a HD battery tender also. got almost 25,000 on it now, only problems I've had horn quit working & was replaced & fuel pump was replaced because of low fuel light coming on too soon.
But, talk to your dealer when you have it service again or go by.

It's still under warranty right? That needs to be looked at by the dealer. I'd be irritated with a new bike w/only 3500 miles that started acting up. And it could be much ado about nothing. Still take it in, maybe some kind of TSB on it.
