Default "72" chopped fender tailight

Just ordered the HD led taillight for my 2012 "72".I seem to remember someone on here put on step by step fitting instructions,but for the life of me cant find it now,anybody help? Cheers

step by step fitting instructions ?? seriuosly ? dude, if you can't replace the taillight, put the kickstand(not a jiffy) down and walk away slowly.

this is the the LED strip under the fender not just a bulb swap.....but yea, im kinda with ya.

OP- it will just tap into the wiring for your brake lights which is tucked on the side underneath your fender.

It will come with instructions. Less then 15 minutes installed. I'll send you a copy of the instions if you want it.

Get some rubbing alcohol, wipe down the inside of the fender, let dry, stick on light, pop seat, lace wire thru, click connectors, wire the clips, turn on juice to the bike, confirm proper install by pumping brakes, pop seat back on. That's it. Wouldn't do it in the cold...

Yea this is my understanding. But you definitely want to do it when the fender is warm and the glue on the light is warm. It will help adhesion. And be 100% sure the spot where you stick the light is very clean.
