I'm running KromeWerks because I got them local & they are made in USA. They are essentially the same as Biltwell Trackers.

JP has some low rise drag bars that I've been contemplating. I think they are 27" wide, about the same as my stock bars.

Running Biltwell Slimline risers.

I really like the set-up with mids but I don't care for forwards on any bike so I am kind of biased.

This is a Nightrider bag from Lejonkulan which is a Swedish company that make some sweet hand made saddlebags for Harley's. Don't know if there's one for the right side but since they're hand made I would think that making one isn't a problem. Works great with passenger! The only downside would be the price, this one incl fittings was about $900.

Check out the website...

I bought a 2011 forty eight new, and this is my first bike. I learned the hard way that drag bars need risers. I bought a set of 28" and couldn't get all the controls to fit on the bars. Unless I'm doing something stupid, which could easily be the case.

When I bought my Sportster, the P/O had installed a set of drag bars. I made a POINT of NOT even test riding the bike at the dealer. And its a good thing I didn't. I let the wife ride it around the dealer lot and we took it home. I am truly convinced that had I rode the bike at the dealer, I would have left it right there! I know there are people who love drag bars, but I am not one of them. Yes, both me and my wife are right at 50 years old, but OMFG, those bars are Chinese torture implements on 100 or 200 mile road trips.

This is how it looked with the drag bars:

And this is how it looks with , um, handlebars.

I am not bagging on anyone's personal choice, but if the O/P wants opinions, I would not put them on anything but a competition bike where comfort was a non-issue. We ride way to far and way to fast to be that hunched over all day. At least IMHO, the top picture looks like something is just missing? I don't know, kinda like the forks go up, then just stop in space. Where as the bottom picture.....at least for me, flows a lot better.

In the end, its your call. Don't take my word, bars are dirt cheap and easy to install. Hell, try three or four different sets. Your bound to fall in love with one of them! I just happen to get lucky the first time.

Love my keystones, WAY better than the stock bars or the straight "dog-bone" style drag bar. The forward controls with a drag bar just doesn't make any sense. Your hands are too close to your feet.
