Imold
I agree on classic bikes, like em way better than new. These "adventure" bikes with their stupid looking "beak" is a big turnoff to me. Along the same lines are dual sport bikes that now look more like insects than motorcycles, with seat heights suited for guys like Coby Bryant more than the average rider. Some of them are 36-37".

When you question that those guys say you need to learn to ride with your feet up????? Nope I like to drag mine as I ride, along with my knuckles.

Antonio's bike (sidecar bike) has a look all its own, its truly a custom Road Glide on its own, and then the wheelchair sidecar puts it into a whole nuther realm. Opens up a new world for paraplegic riders or would be riders.

Would be cool to see some custom bike makers building some of these for vets.

I rode it to work @ dark thirty this morning. Surprising how effective these mustache bar soft lowers are.

Jed,
Where did you get the lowers? Also those lights LOOK like some I just saw at Harbor Freight. What brand are those and how well do they work?
One last question, on the fairing, I cannot tell from the pic but are there hand guards on it?

How do you have the paniers mounted?

I bought those from a guy that makes em and sells em on ebay. Sorry, don't remember who, it was last winter. The fairing is a T Sport for a Dyna, I have handlebar mount hand guards that I just sent to the powder coater, will put them back on next week. I bought those lights @ Walmart 2 years ago, they are awesome, but I saw the ones at Harbor freight you refered to. They were 12 bucks cheaper at HF. I have the flood pattern as opposed to the spot light pattern.

Thanks. How did you wire and switch them? I saw an HD write up somewhere that put the switch into the blank side of the handlebar clamp on the clutch.

That's exactly where I put the switch. I picked up power from the LED license plate light. I put the international rear fender/license plate mount on the Roadster to get rid of the side mount. I also put a disconnect on the wiring harness I made for the lights in case the crash bar needs to be removed.

Sweet. Where did you get your switch cover? Is that an HD part?

Started with EZ Brackets from Great Bike Gear. Had to heat the bottom part of them to get rid of the flair, welded some extra mounting

tabs to the top of them Then I fashioned some supporting brackets and had all of it powdercoated

No, that's another ebay item. I did all of lights and boxes 2 years ago. My memory is a long as my hair, which is shaved.
