Put the clutch back together with two additional steel plates and a friction plate, feels much better now. Would have taken about half as much time if I would have had the right manual or would have remembered how I took it apart. Clutch is not quite the same as the rigid mounts.

How long would that job have taken if you had the parts when you started?

Southside!

Removed the 60hz buzz.

Handle bars forward. Little test ride felt good!

Spent a couple of hours turning gasoline into noise, before the rain moves back in later this afternoon...

Well I always knew HD was a world class brand, looking at your license plate confirms that. HD folks are everywhere.

Welcome!

Are there any clearance issues with the 170?

No clearance issues so far ... it is about 3mm at each side 170 on 4,5" x 16" wheel.

Wow that looks tight, but I guess it doesn't rub, so that's cool. Looks huge from the rear.

I am beginning to believe the Harley Sportster is the most adaptable and customizable bike on the road. Everything from an all out enduro to a bagger, and many more inbetween.

And for the current lines, everything from 883cc to 1450, from 50 hp to nearly 150hp.

While it may not be the best in any category, it can surely be enjoyable in MANY categories.
