Not surprising. The 444's are better than stock, so most folks that go from stock them are quite impressed. But for folks that have ridden with a quality shock, the leave quite a bit to be desired. So, same shocks, some folks really like, others are disappointed.

Here's a LINK to a full Report on rear suspension for HD's.

Funny world I am looking for the reflector I am missing for my bike. I do not ride at night, but I am restoring it to its former glory.

BTW rode it 90 miles last night. That is the longest i have ridden it since I got it and I have some work to do. The Carb is junk and I started to die at 85 miles, like I was starving for fuel. I thought I was out of fuel it is a Sporty, so switch to reserve and it was still not running great. I pulled into a gas station only took 1.5 gallons. I think I still have crap in my tank clogging it. I should have a 3.5 or 4 gallon tank (I forget). I wish I could get all of that carp liner out of it.

PS tonight I am meeting with a guy that has a bunch of pull off stock parts from his bobber build of a 1984.

Rode it to work this morning at o'dark thirty. Today was supposed to be the "Pick of the Week" according to the weather guy. Partly sunny and DRY... Well, he was WRONG. The afternoon wasn't too bad though.

Nice, I always thought that rebar would make a nice custom addition to a bike.

Thanks. Yeah I've ran a horse ranch for the past six years so it fits if you know what I mean.
