Thx man, I like the look of the shocks and the ride height it sets up in the rear. It still has the Harley look with a little lift in the tail.

Are they the heavy duty springs you have on them or the standard set ?. Looking at something that’s good 2 up with the wife.

Thx in advance mate

Hi Wiz,

They came on the bike when I bought it last Feb. Given what I know now, I would have the heavy duty springs for the 12.5" 444. It took me a while to dial in the preload for my 200lb weight. I don't do two-up. I find that it will occasionally bottom out on a severe bump but in general aggressive riding, twisty back roads, it's good. I don't want to give it any more pre-load.

what I know about this model shock and how I ride: I would want the 13" with standard springs or this 12.5" with the HD springs. On my to-do list for the winter is to reach out to progressive to ask if I can buy HD springs for these shocks. (or I could always try to lose 20lbs over the winter)

Thought I'd get out and ride some BEFORE the wind advisory was supposed kick in. WRONG, it was great for about 30 minutes and then like someone had flipped a switch the wind picked up. There are down right dangerous wind speeds out there, gusts blew me all over the road trying to get home, and even though I had my feet spread as far as I could at a stop light, it almost blew me over. Winds are gusting right at 50 mph, not fun on a bike...

didn't even warm up after an hour ride-

Last ride for me this season. Got up to 12 today though yet still didn't really get the engine very hot. Changing the oil and putting her away.

I was looking for a good mount for a powervision tuner box. Best price was ebay:
https://www.ebay.ca/itm/GN032-SBH-AM...s/331649635048

It does work well. It is solidly mounted on the bars, not going to move. However, don't be a meathead and overtorque the ring.

Last I looked you get the mount and sun visor for free from fuel moto.
