Today put Mustang vintage solo and fender bib , cut and laced bags to struts and added 1&1/2” risers to the bars.
The bib will protect the fender a bit when I bungee bags on.

Chain guard painted and installed, fuel tap and lines, new shock bolts, breather/chain oiler and finished the checkered flag with eagle and wheel (old Harley racing) graphic . Finished the tank the other day (water slide on left side) and 3 more coats of clear. Need a reflector for left side fork lower , engine guard install tomorrow then detail clean

I removed that ugly sissy bar/backrest and did the turn signal relocation with layback tag mount. All in preparation to get some real estate for my saddlebags.

Dropped the sissy bar/back rest. Will soon replace the seat with a smaller solo seat. In my book, Sportsters need to have a lower profile.

Changed spark plugs, changed engine oil and filter, changed primary oil, adjusted primary chain, cleaned air filter, took 30 minutes, I love my Sportster.

Went to the local dealership and picked up gaskets for the primary cover, cam cover, oil and filter. I Have to pull the primary cover while looking for a noise in the bottom end and am thinking of getting it powder coated while off. Hoping I can pull the cam cover off without unloading anything as well. Thinking now of doing the rocker box tops while I'm at it. That gasket kit is a little bit of cash tho..
