I fitted Progressive 430s with heavy duty springs to my XL1200T. I like the 430s as no tools required for adjustment plus they can be adjusted with the saddle bags on.
I fitted a Sundowner 2 up seat.

My partner felt much better on the bike.
On the way home she asked if we could stop after approximately 60 miles to stretch her legs. This was after a lot of start stop riding so maybe riding for 90 minutes is a massive improvement over the 35 to 40 minutes she was able to endure with the stock seat.
Changed the oil and filter this afternoon in preparation for our trip to Deals Gap next month. I'm getting real close to 5000 miles so I'll probably go ahead and do the 5000 service/checklist this week.
Finally got around installing the dart windscreen. Will test it tomorrow in highway speeds. Also ordered some brass pegs and shifter and a burly small sissy bar.
New Le Pera seat came in today. Went with the Daytona Sport Daddy Long Legs. Gives me a couple more inches from the tank and mid controls are more comfortable.
I picked up my new 1200 Iron in twisted cherry on Saturday and have been putting on the break-in miles. I'll take some pics when I get a change, Very happy with this bike. ENJOY!!!
I installed Custom Dynamics "clusters" front signals/running lights-
and a Custom Dynamics load equalizer-
You need to trim out that black gasket to make them fit-

Very bright. I will probably go with the clear lenses once I check on the legality of white signals up front. These lights are just white light... no amber LED.
Got my bike out of dealer storage, finally. Dealer did the front turn signal relocation and installed my new 8" mini ape Mercenary 1" bars from FMB customs. (+ 2" riser bolts from DK). FMB made the bars custom with satin powder coat finish. Definitely recommend David at FMB. Great quality, reasonable prices, and quick. I love how these bars look and feel. Really comfortable. Also installed the Motherwell black knock-off contour rack on the back after painting it with J.D. Blitz black rattle can to get the matte finish. Installed new black Willie G. trim pieces that came out for 2018 in black: Derby cover, timer cover, gas cap, and front axle nut covers. First ride on a beautiful day. I love this bike!

Nice ride man .... What does dealer storage set you back ? And do they do it on a month to month deal ?
