Took her out for a ride this morning.

Had a couple hours before the boss (my wife) woke up so I decided to take a ride down to Key Largo and back through the everglades.
70 and clear all morning.
Gotta love living where others vacation.

Changed out my stock mufflers for a set of Screaming Eagles which sound fabulous I might add. It's 75 degrees with a light wind just as I was going for an extended ride my mother calls (she's 89) asking for a ride to my brothers, I know I'd never get her on the back of my bike so the extended ride is postponed until tomorrow, family first.

You could've tried... Nothing's impossible with duct tape and maybe some bungee cords

Working on tuning my bike again today since the rain went away briefly. Using the auto tune feature, I went on a long run to the city and then loaded what the PV thought was ok. On the way home, decel pop is gone. It still grumbles like an angry old man but no popping at all. More power? Nah. It's much smoother power delivery though and a sudden lean condition when rev'd from idle is gone. It sometimes had a small pause, that's gone.

A smart person would leave it alone now. But I'm curious what some of the provided custom tunes might be like.

Better. I will check them again next week.

Working on my random fractal designs. Looks like it could be on the cover of a Fu Manchu album-

Yes, worth keeping track of. I setup that in "gauges" when I first installed it.
In the state that I bought it: 41mpg on secondary highways, not trying to drive in an economical way. That's not very good.
I don't know what it is now... I'll have to see after more miles.

I'll do it one day next week.

Well today I sat down for 4.5 hours and pounded out most of the new wiring.

Back in 2012 I cut out a bunch of the factory harness and wired up the bike for non-led brakes and signals.

I am switching all four corners to LED, so I've taken this opportunity to tear out what I did back in 2012 and start from scratch.

It all worked great from 2012 to current, but it was not compatible with going All LED.

Got most everything done, all lights are working, all wiring is done. Tomorrow I will finish hiding all the wiring and put my spring solo seat back on.

Rode my '83 to a nearby city for a car & bike show. Nice weather and a fun time. The Indian that parked next to me (and got all the attention in that area...ha ha) won a prize. I didn't, but a couple of the people who bothered to look actually knew it was an Ironhead.

Just started working on my Motogadget Mini Motoscope install. Wired it up to the M-Can and tested it, it powers up! So hopefully this will go smoothly....
