After making the outside of the forks like new it was time to turn my attention to the inside. So, I changed the seals, bushings, seals and oil.
Everything that holds back a flood of oil or brake fluid on this bike will be replaced by the time I am done.
Oil lines on the motor are turning out to be more of a PITA than expected. Getting at the feed lines on the oil pump isn't easy with out removing the cam cover or the actual pump. Not impossible, just hard.

Rode it to work. Had an exciting thing happen...
I heard an unusual sound. I looked down to see my shift pedal spinning in the wind like a pinwheel. I put my foot under it to keep it from turning (slight pressure, not enough to actually shift) and the dang thing came off. It was balancing on the toe of my boot. Thankfully, I was able to easily reach down and grab it while pulling off the side of the road. Even still had the bolt through it.
I was able to put it back on and be on my way in under 2 mins. Going to red lock tight it at lunch.

Damn Motogadget grip on the throttle side is loose. The round piece that the grip threads on to has a bunch of set screws around it holding it on to the actual plastic throttle. A very hard piece to get right, either its too loose and will spin or its too tight or tightened unevenly on the plastic throttle making it so it wont spin right.
Im guessing some of the set screws either backed out a bit or the plastic is worn underneath. The kicker is that the motogadget bar end indicator stops me from being able to just reverse the grip off and readjust. Hopefully I have enough slack in the wires to pull them off just enough to tighten up. The indicators are connected under the seat and pulled through the bars. sigh*

One time I lost my shift lever at night on a busy freeway doing about 70 MPH. Pulled over on the left shoulder and walked about a quarter mile using passing car's headlights to scan the road and found it in the middle of the lane. Held it in place with my foot till I got home 30 minutes later.
And then I found twenty dollars.
And then I found twenty dollars.
