What did you do to Your Sportster Today?
#724
Finally finished my modifications
It took some time to get the look i was going for , but i have to say i am happy with the end result. Here is one before pic and a few after. I swapped out the tank and front wheel and calipers. Added rear burly slammers. Bobbed the rear fender and relocated the ignition. Swapped the apes out and re-ran the tail light to the side mount plate used a cats eye taillight (which broke and the replacement arrived today) Sold the mustang seat and got an ebay deal for the gunslinger. Fabricated the sissy bar using the old mounts slightly modified. All in all i am happy with the end result. The bike runs great, Baker 6 speed and S&S super E and it starts right up every day and is a match for the NYC streets.

w/gf must not be thrilled with the seat change
what's that attached to your frame at the front that we see in the last pic?

It is in fact an oil cooler. Good call! G/F likes the rumble, she doesn't mind the seat change all that much and the new bar lets her it back more comfy. I should also mention i am selling the old front wheel with the dual brake set up for $150 if anyone is interested.
