It's winter, I'm bored...

Decided I'd come up with something to fill in between the cylinder heads, and attempt to hide the stuff around the intake, so I came up with this idea.

I'm going to paint it black so the emblem will appear to be 'floating', at least that's the idea. Of course the emblem won't be held on with a piece of scotch tape when it's done...

Tell you one thing, Harley sure didn't want those Torx buttonheads they filled the holes with to come out. Locktite...really... Of course a ratchet and torx bit wouldn't fit under the tank, so I had to go with a 1/4" wrench and the torx bit.

Put a mud flap on the front fender, build is all but done.

I busted my A$$ and knuckles getting everything cleaned, filed, sanded and polished. Next week I hope to start mocking up for cabling and brake lines.
