Sounds like a good plan, but please don't warm up the garage with a propane heater while working on the fuel tank! Otherwise you and Sam Adams might not be able to share that winter lager together afterwards.

Carb mount done along with filter and breathers, played with an old belt as tank strap.

Just curious, does your motor stumble when you get the idiot light flashing? Mine did that, it turned out to be a slightly loose battery terminal, which would interrupt the power when I hit a bump, and make the idiot lights blink, and the motor to stumble at the same time.

Plugged in the battery tender this morning. Temps have been zero to teens this week into next.

Brought the bike inside and installed the xr caliper and pearl black stainless brake line.

Did a bit more work on the OL's Iron today, got the exhaust all
buttoned-up. Still working on the intake system, hit a snag with
the head breather setup I was going to use. Still got to get that
sorted out...
