Hard bags
I ordered a cycle vision bagster mount, a pair of new Harley-Davidson touring hard saddlebags, a Kuryakin license plate bracket that lets me mount rear turn signals to license plate frame yesterday for my 2016 XL1200 C . Can’t wait to get everything installed. I ordered vivid black bags cause I could not order superior blue that my bike is painted (the color I needed was only available in 2014 and up bags and they were just too expensive. Local guy wants 900.00 to paint to saddlebags, so I am going to leave them vivid black). Will post pictures when installed..

I know there are a lot of non-believers in cooling fans, but if you ride in daily stop and go traffic like I do, it is peace of mind to know you will never overheat and seize.
Today got caught in parade-like stop and go traffic. When I looked at my engine temp off my Powervision, it read 397 degrees and going up. I said what the heck is going on...come to find out, I had my fan turned off. So at about 400 degrees, I turned the fan on in the same stop and go traffic. My temp went down to 345....a 55+ degree decrease in a few minutes. Just awesome to have a fan.

If you're looking to do a wire tuck without a tank lift....here's a good thread with step-by-step and photos on how to do it.

I use both the power vision temp and oil temperature as my reference point and block/unblock air to my oil cooler need be.

Yup I know where the sensor is located...perhaps an oil cooler would have worked just as well. I use to monitor oil temp but never had abnormal readings and since I could not see the oil level on the dip stick, I put back the stock one back.

It is very rideable. I am weary of letting inexperienced riders try it out because even I have scared myself when not expecting so much power. I just have to roll on the throttle a little slower and less to maintain speed limits. Im usually at 5-10% throttle when cruising around the city.
However, I am very used to the power now and am looking into adding nitrous some time in early 2018. I just need to discuss details with my tuner so I can be in a safe area. I was thinking of something small like a 20-50 shot.
