took it on a last minute night time mail run to send off the 2018 softail speedo that didn't workout to a new happy home. my bike is obnoxious in just about everyway possible outside of smelling bad...

headlight aimed obnoxiously high
pipes obnoxious loud
obnoxious light coming from the cradle
obnoxious relections coming off side panels and wheels
obnoxious rider
according the "Unknown Assailant", obnoxious looks

fricken great! i love my sporty

reinstalled the gauge mount. also installed the new ram mount. Then I fired up the bike in the garage to test the modified tune. Worked out well, but forgot my helmet was hanging off my front bars, to keep it off the ground to protect it. Ended up laying against the heat shield and melted the rubber / plastic on the edge of the chin bar.
emailed HJC to see if I can get a replacement. luckily i noticed the 'smoke' coming up from the burning microfiber bag, ect. why? why does everything hate me. Trying to keep it looking new since i just got it, and the new reflective visor, so i didnt want to leave it on a table (my FIL is a bit of a hamfist) and weve got the xmas tree season coming up so a lot of activity in the garage, and of course were hosting t-day so I couldnt leave it in the house.
gooooooooodddaammmmnnn it!

Easy fix: just don't shower or brush your teeth for a few days then go ride the bike

1)Installed the Custom Dynamics "eclipze2" on my bar end indicators so I can run them as running lights as well as turn signals. The indicators only use 2 wires as opposed to the factory 3 wire system.

2)Grabbed a few 5/16 fine thread nuts & lock washers for the exhaust. Will use them temporarily as they aren't stainless and don't want them to self weld themselves on there.

3)Took a look at the breather bolts inside the intake. Man these things do spit some sh*t into the filter. I will certainly be looking to buy some DK products soon. Either the filter bolts or possibly the catch can system. Sooo dirty in there! May have to do a sea-foam cleanse.

4) Drove her to work this morning, left my house and it was a balmy 0 degree C. Bike seems to like running in the cold weather. Starting in the weather, not so much.

Default cheated on it with an indian

Molested the Indian Bobber.... Major improvement over the Octane in finish. the build quality and detail is superb. blows my sporty away and is smoother. the whine is strange but, this thing is a monster.

it had grenades (with a crossover, wtf.. why don't i have a crossover?) and drag bars not drags... my brain registered drags... nit sure why. ... i had to behave on the test ride bide it punished it a few times. the fixed a lot of the issues that were on the Octane i rode. ...and it has a compass . great bike. if your are looking at a 48, try this too.

also molested the white chieftain. Indian is not playing, those boys are hungry.

Keep in mind this is a liquid cooled motor so it's gonna be able to produce
alot more hp/torque for a given displacement that our air-cooled versions...
