Thru a sand and polish on my lower fork legs. Should have done that along time ago. What a difference

Rode it close to 250 miles today with a couple of good friends after finishing up the FP3 auto-tune setup. Oscar (look closely at handlebars) was along for the ride as usual, too.

Default New battery - nice fall ride

Two weeks ago got geared up to ride to a meeting on my day off - got on and got the click click click sound of FAIL. Died a little inside because it was a perfect riding day- ordered a new battery - yesterday installed with my dad and took it out today for a nice ride. Hoping the weather stays nice over these next weeks for some more rides before the December wintering- be safe everyone - happy riding.

Installed a small sissy bar. Planning to run without the pad on it most of the time except for when my wife is riding with me.

Had a little trouble last week, the engine on my 2016 1200 LowT started to sputter, and the low fuel and low oil pressure lights would blink on in time with the misfiring. It did it twice in the space of 30 seconds, then cleared up. I pulled off into a parking lot and checked for oil leaks, nothing. I turned around and headed home to get my cage to finish my errands and parked the bike.
I had a chance to look at it this weekend, a quick check noted the positive terminal was slightly loose. I tightened it up, hopefully curing the problem. My best guess was a bump causing a slight loss of power flow, then the shuddering actually causing the battery to shake just enough to make and break the solid contact, and the momentary low voltage messing with the spark or EFI enough to cause a misfire.

Just how much does that change the ride hight of the seat as 13” is a stretch and also the lean angle when on the side stand ( jiffy ) ?

Thx Wiz

Put on some new mirrors. My stock ones got sleepy. The right hand side wouldn't stay in position and would just droop down to show the pavement.

These are some Amazon specials. I love that the angle is adjustable. Can see past my shoulders without extensions.
