Pulled in to my shop after riding to work and back only to discover my axle nut had come off somewhere along the way. Immediately knew I had forgotten to put the c clip on the axle 😲. Talk about a close call!

Just read that somewhere . I think it was in an before after install of love jugs.

I don't have those on my scooter, I'm not into chrome, but I do have similar spark plug hole covers on my scooter. Mine match the grey of the fins.

I haven't noticed any affect on the cooling/heat of the head. And it sometimes gets HOT here in the desert.

those coves are definitely for bling and not function....it does block airflow. Decreased my temp 30-40 degrees without it depending on the kind of traffic.

Lucky you didn't strip/crush the adjuster, isn't designed to hold the axle, just position it. I've bent adjusters on other brands. You know it right away!
