Before I did this I bought a Sundowner from a local HD dealer. Awful. What a joke. Returned it the same day. Mustang blows it away. I'm sure yours will sell in a minute on Craigslist.
Totally understand. My other Mustang seat is not even listed on CL...was just providing you with an option. That is the only way I can carry a passenger so just leaving it on the side. Again, glad you found a seat you like. I actually thought the sundowner was a comfortable seat....good to know.

The Rush slipons came today, I wasted no time mounting them up. Install was easy, alot off wiggling to get the factory mufflers off but not a big deal.

They are considerably louder than the factory mufflers but not obnoxiously so. To my ear the Rush have a much deeper tone to them compared to the V&H Twin Slash. Only MAP I could find that was close was the V&H Twin Slash but with a hi flow air cleaner. I did have a slight pop on decel before I flashed it, that is gone. Only thing left is a slight puh... ever so often on decel. Bike runs great!

Which ones did you get? I got the bike with a set of rush installed, but swapped them for the black straight cuts, and then upgraded to the 2" baffles, love the sound. loud but not crazy. right about 2100 they hit a nice pressure that actually sounds about as loud as factory if im not on it, useful for when your rolling through town or past a cop or trying to sneak back home

They are the 3" slipons with the 1.75" baffle. I wasn't looking for LOUD, just lose the sewing machine sound the stock mufflers have. I would have gone with the 1.5" baffle if it had still been an option.

They do purr nicely at 70 mph.

Did a compression check after 800 miles on the new pistons and rings.

170 front
170 rear

That's more than acceptable and will go up a little when I do a complete valve job on it, maybe this winter.
