Default Muffler mod!

today I drilled out my stock muffler baffle plugs 1/2" on my 2017 forty eight. Sounds better than stock but it's kind of "meh". I'll go with Rush 1.75" slip ons next spring.

Washed, polished, and went for a spin to get just a little road dust back on.

i have a 2012 1200 Custom, and wasn't happy with all the chrome. So after buying a rear 48 wheel from buell95, and ordering a front wheel from HD, I did the install today. I added some slammer shocks from a Dyna ( because they're a little fatter than the Sporty slammers), and also installed a black air cleaner box in place of the chrome one that came on the bike. So today was a get rid of some chrome day. I think it's looking better..

No tuner, They're just slip on . They sound good but I'm currently looking at the Magna Flow Bandit system (black) I messaged MF here on the site, they got back to me and said it'd be a good idea to run a tune with their system. I'm gathering funds for the purchase now..

I want a black exhaust to knock down some more of the chrome , and I like the sound of a louder system. I've always had loud exhaust on all my bikes, so stock just seems to fall by the wayside.. I picked this up used, and the previous owner installed the SE slip on's. They're better than stock, but not loud enough for my liking. I'm in the Desert, so I like to have some noise to alert drivers when we have those wonderful dust storms where you cannot see a foot in front of you. Lol

Is there any difference in the seat you say you installed today, vs the seat that's on your avatar photo? They look the same...? Wondering what the benefit is with the RS seat?
