What did you do to Your Sportster Today?
#621
Did a few more steps of my early 5k miles service. Inspected spokes, A/C filter, electricals, fuel lines and battery. Fixed issue with throttle response which required removal of the tank. Not difficult but I was doing it for the first time so learned something new that you only get a few drops of oil spill even if the fuel tank is full.
Also tucked the front brake line and throttle and idle cables for a cleaner look.
In progress ....
all cleaned up
Next steps:
- Complete remaining steps of 5k service
- install the Nation Cycle aux lights bar (this one is overdue)

Finally got around to doing the ignition and coil relocation. I didn't relocate my cowbell. I didn't like the options I had so I just tucked the wire if I decide to replace the horn later. For now I'll run without it. I bought a 7" bucket, lamp, and bulb off of eBay but I'll need to make some modifications to the mounting block so I decided to save it for another day. Glad I finally got it all cleaned up.

I have that same sissy bar but didn't realize I could add a rack to the back of it. Which one did you use and how does it attach?
I have the standard HD quick connect detachable luggage rack but of course can't use it and the sissy bar at the same time.
Thanks.
