Changes oil and oil filter and a wheel to wheel cleaning and polishing which was overdue since my last ride when I went down in water.

Bought her a very gently used Torin Big Red lift so that I can hopefully get her StreetGlide shocks on tomorrow. And ordering a CVP carb tuner kit tomorrow.

Ok so this was done yesterday to the ol' lady's '13 Iron, but I just
got around to posting it today....

Added a HD areo-rack with LED stoplight to the QD sissybar.
Added a Jagg Oil cooler.

StreetGlide air shocks. straight forward swap - T50 star bit. Big adjustable wrench for the nut on the bottom bolt. no shims or spacers (at the moment). 20lbs of pressure. Viola!

Ricketts, that's an interesting looking seat. What kind is it, and is it comfortable?

It's the Biltwell HB Tuck n Roll. Pretty good feeling seat, it is surely better then my 72's stock solo seat.

Took advantage of the rainy weather upon us for a couple days. Have gained enough confidence and experience to switch out the Burly 10.5" shocks, to Progressive 12.5" shocks (not the ones with HD springs). This raised seat height (Reduced Reach 2-up) to 29" (up from 26"). Still able to flat foot with my 30" inseam with room to spare. Experienced for the first time rider sag, (achieved with all 135lbs of me) woo hoo, skippy doo! Can't wait to hit the bumps made by latest rough winter. Anticipating tweeking the front shocks and/or putting on sundowner seat I have squirreled away. Then going back to that great write up which describes all the ins and outs of suspension fine tuning. Wish the reduced reach seat had more padding under my butt like there is under passenger's butt. Its been a cool little adventure, a bit pricey, but what else we can do, besides reading up, asking questions, and acting on our best guesses? Got to ride lots now to wear down stock tires and switch to something better.

I just put on rush slip ons an hour ago....holly molly!!! what a difference!!!!

Guys, if you have not done so...RUSH!!! it's like the bike is born again!! It's like going from a bicycle to a motorcycle, the previous 200 miles were wasted...forget about any other upgrade, this should be the first on anyone's list
